    Understanding the impact of water management on streamflow to inform drought mitigation strategies, infrastructure development and water allocation policies

    Water resources are facing tremendous challenges. In part because of global drivers such as climate variability and change modifying our understanding of supply, and demographics and global markets reshaping water demands, but also because of the way we actually manage water. Infrastructures to store, allocate and distribute water and the associated policies linked to water rights, diversions or insurances, have greatly transformed water resources and will keep doing so.
